You are all so creative so have fun and practice your xmas carols! Thank you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving,

November 26 2007 - BMPC Mounted Meeting/ Mock Event
  Time:  12:30PM
  Location: Stonewood Farm, Dover PA
  Cost: $10.00

Blue Mountain will hold a mounted meeting on Monday November 26th. All the school in the area are off that day.

There will be a grounds fee of about $10 per rider. For those of you who have never been to Stonewood, it is a beautiful farm and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to ride there. Holly has good school horses/ponies available for anyone who doesn't have a horse or transportation for $10. If you wish to use one of Holly's horse's please let Karen know.

Start time will be 12:30 with a walk of the jumping course, and the X country course. First dressage test will begin promptly at 1:30. Ride times will be assigned. Riders may ride any dressage test they wish, but please bring a copy of the test you are riding for the judge. Each rider will ride their test, get feedback on how to make improvements and ride the test again. We will use the same format for the stadium and X country portions. Ride the course, get feedback, and ride again.

The X country course will be in an enclosed field with houses around two sides of it, so it will be very safe in light of opening deer season.
Dress is casual, but remember this is a mounted pony club meeting so dress accordingly.

If you wish to participate in this event, I must know by November 21st the day before Thanksgiving so that I can schedule your rides. If I don't hear back from you, I will believe you are out of town for Thanksgiving.

Again, this is a wonderful opportunity for our club. Please remember to thank our hostess Holly Sands.

Thanks so much,
Tammy, DC
